Dian Sitip Meechai is a singer, dancer, actor, and choreographer. She has done commercial and performance work for Pocket Opera, Kinda Funny Live, Silversea Cruises, SEGA and Lamplighters Music Theatre. Born in the “Boogie Down” Bronx, Dian aspired to perform from her earliest days. She sang at city wide and regional events in her youth. Though a Computer Science major at Northwestern University, she minored in Vocal Performance and competed in their DanceSport team. Upon graduating, Dian branched into contortion and other dance styles like jazz, hip hop and contemporary.

Dian is a classically trained soprano, yet her vocal repertoire also includes jazz and musical theater. Theatre credits include The Gondoliers (Giulia) and The Roar of the Greasepaint, The Smell of the Crowd (The Girl/Urchin, Dance Captain). Other credits include singing onboard the international-sailing Silver Spirit, choreographing for the Nitey Awards, dancing in a SEGA commercial, and contorting at Angelica’s dinner theatre. Dian is also a songwriter and NASM-CPT. She retired from contortion in 2019.
